Palm Sunday in Uruapan seems to be the crystallization of Vasco de Quiroga’s desire to see every indigenous community trained in a particular craft. Every year on this day, artisans who work in clay, textiles, lacquerwork, metal and basketry gather in Uruapan for a festival that showcases the state’s wealth of crafts as well as regional foods, music and dance. This book is a window on a living tradition.PRICES DO NOT INCLUDE SHIPPING
